The Challenge

The Cube in Birmingham is home to a vibrant mix of restaurants and bars, a hotel, a bowling alley, apartments and premium office space, and the UK’s largest automated car park.

The project aimed to promote the landmark’s venues, parking facilities, and vacant units, ultimately driving increased footfall and interest among businesses and the general public.


The Solution

With the primary objective of redefining The Cube’s digital presence and promoting the landmark to Birmingham’s business community, our marketing team undertook an expansive range of initiatives.

We successfully managed organic and paid activities on Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram, influencer marketing, content creation, events, the design and launch of a new website, email marketing, as well as various other marketing initiatives.  

One of our campaigns involved promoting the Cube during the festive period to drive more foot traffic, increase website traffic, and expand our mailing list. 

The concept was simple yet engaging: Santa had left hidden presents throughout The Cube, and visitors were encouraged to find them. Each hidden present was accompanied by a QR code, which, when scanned, gave access to exclusive vouchers redeemable at various restaurants and entertainment venues within The Cube.

The campaign was promoted with video, various social media channels, email marketing and paid advertising.

The Results

After just three months of working together, we saw great growth across all social media platforms and our mailing list, as well as increased footfall and interest among the Birmingham community.

  • On X, we achieved 400 new followers, with impressions soaring by a staggering 368% and engagement escalating by 811%.
  • On Facebook, we saw an increase of 74% in followers, a 220% rise in reach, and a climb in engagement of 743%.
  • On Instagram, we achieved a 195% growth in followers, a 576% rise in post-reach, and a 267% rise in engagement.
